Pumice forms when gas-rich lava cools in seconds. Thousands of trapped bubbles make it light enough to float, and give it its grinding edge.

Inside the washing drum
Every pore is a tiny abrasive
As the drum turns, the stone rubs indigo off the surface of the yarn. The white cotton core shows through and the fabric fades evenly.

Stone is selectively mined from volcanic deposits in Anatolia.
Crushing
Controlled crushing keeps the fines ratio low.
Screening
Stones are screened to the ordered size range.
Washing
Dust and clay are washed away.
Bagging & loading
Filled into 20 kg or 25 kg PP bags, palletised on request, and loaded into containers at Mersin.
